Kidsilk Lace is spun from the best of Kid Mohair that is available in South Africa. It is very light and luxurious. It knits into dreamy shawls and garments. The soft yarn can be worn directly against the skin.
Kidsilk lace is dyed by hand near Cape Town by Carle Dehning owner of Nurturing Fibres and her small team of co workers. It contains 70% South African mohair and 30% silk.
Handdyed by the colour magician Carle Dehning and her team. Each ball is unique.
Kidsilk is dyed in the gorgeous Vintage Palette and Soft Palette and matches the Supertwist range. In semi-solids only.

Needles 4mm to 5.5mm (UK 8 - 5; US 6 - 9);
Per 25 g ball, length approx. 200 m (218 yards)

Washing instructions: just let you kidsilk garments air, the natural fibers have a self-cleansing quality. Wash as little as possible. If necessary, hand wash only.
